    SECURITY SPECIALIST

    Passion City Church

    OBJECTIVE

    Responsible for day-to-day safety and security of Passion City Church (PCC) and its members. A positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models initiative, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Follow security and safety protocols for Passion City Church
    • Provide security for Passion City Church staff and members as well as property; monitor entrances and exits for visitors, students, and employees, and address unauthorized persons
    • Maintain a watchful eye while making rounds, ensuring the assigned area is properly patrolled and monitored
    • Stay in communication with other Passion City Church personnel during your shift and especially when unusual or unforeseen circumstances arise
    • Respond to medical and other emergencies according to established procedures
    • Follow open and close procedures for buildings and activities
    • Respond quickly and appropriately to calls regarding safety and security concerns during working hours
    • Ensure the Director of Security is notified of all incidents and facilitate the completion of necessary Incident Reports

    WORK SCHEDULE

    Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm + all day Sunday. Schedule may shift during special events.

    REPORTS TO

    Director of Security

    AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL

    High School degree (Associate's degree preferred) with 2-3 years safety/security experience or highly responsible work relating to the safety and security field. Preferably police, government security contracting, private security, or related military experience, including some leadership responsibility.

    TRAINING EXPECTATIONS

    Completion of periodic training on church security procedures and best practices is required of each Security Specialist. Obtaining a certification in CPR is also required. Other training may be requested as needed to ensure the best techniques are being utilized to ensure the church maintains a safe environment at all times.
