Job Description

Passion for Life is seeking Development and Fundraising interns to assist in various fundraising campaigns to help students uncover their passions. As a Development and Fundraising intern, you will be responsible for establishing revenue goals while creating fundraising initiatives to promote the organization's growth. As a fundraising team member, you will also aid in grant research, the development, and implementation of outreach methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and research grant proposals

• Conduct research and grant schedules to apply for grants

• Create donor engagement plan

• Develop fundraising strategies including processes and timelines

• Research and implement donation tools/ platforms that will automate providing donation receipts, CRM and versatility with setting up donation amounts

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with funding providers.

• Create and maintain a shared calendar of funding application deadlines and records.

Qualifications

• Sincere interest and/or related experience with fundraising activities

• Must be a junior or senior currently pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree at a U.S-based college/university. Preference for degrees in business administration, nonprofit management, public administration, or other related fields

• Ability to effectively work both independently and collaboratively

• Highly organized and detail oriented

• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and follow-up with funders

• Knowledge of basic fundraising techniques and strategies is a plus
