    Job Description

    Passion for Life, Inc. is seeking individuals to serve as Instructional Designers for the organization. In this role, the primary responsibility is to support the Educational/Instructional Team by coordinating and monitoring Passion Seekers activities. This position assists with the training and development of our Passion Seekers program. This team creates a fun and engaging curriculum to create experiential learning for the youth that we serve. We are for interns that are passionate about creating fun new ways for youth to learn. Creative and out-of-the-box thinking is a must!

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • ​​​​​​Assist with the planning and design of unique interactive programming and lesson planning.
    • Assist and collaborate with trainers on improvements to blended learning and recommend new and innovative ways of displaying content online AND in-person workshops and program activities.
    • Create informational videos on quizzes/assessments.
    • Assist with maintaining/editing program training materials, archives, and technologies.
    • Assist in managing and recommending new ways of displaying content.
    • Collaborate and communicate with subject matter experts in visual, oral, and written form.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

    • Must be currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Education, Instructional Design, Nonprofit Management, Psychology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Counseling, Sociology, or human services related fields of study
    • Must be classified as a Junior or Senior

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Creative, dependable, enthusiastic, and must have a go-getter attitude.
    • Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
    • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc).
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Commitment to collaborative decision-making and cooperative working relationships with P4L staff and community partners

    Additional Information

    TIME COMMITMENT: 9-10 hours a week
