Are you passionate about soccer and working with children ages 2-8? Soccer Shots is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team as Youth Soccer Coaches in Des Moines, Iowa.

As a Soccer Shots coach, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on young athletes' lives while fostering their love for the game. We provide high-quality soccer programs for children aged 2 to 8, promoting character development and teaching fundamental soccer skills in a fun and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead engaging and age-appropriate soccer sessions for children, following the Soccer Shots curriculum.

Create a safe and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and develop their skills.

Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to promote character development and teamwork.

Interact with parents and provide regular feedback on children's progress.

Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and organized session setup.

Qualifications:

Passion for soccer and working with children.

Experience coaching or working with young children (preferred but not required).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

Ability to engage and motivate children.

Other details:

• Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check

• Must have your own car, and it’s reliable

• Ability to work with little supervision (once you get your schedule, you’ll be expected to show up, on time, at every location each week)

• You’ll commit to the entire season – this is very important given the age of children we work with

• Pay starts at $18 for each 30 minute session

• We have coaches coaching anywhere from 3 – 20+ sessions/week depending on availability

• Coaches with Saturday morning availability are prioritized
