Passport Health, a national provider of wellness and travel vaccinations seeking a Nurse Practitioner in our San Diego location.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide corporate oversight of standing physician orders, review of client charts, regulatory and compliance adherence, Pre-employment, VA and MOD 11 physicals, travel counseling and education and administration of immunizations and medications.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assumes responsibility for the patient by assessing health and social histories and providing treatment according to policies and procedures.
• Perform physicals per client requests and requirements.
• Participate in corporate wellness and immunization events.
• Health/travel counseling in a safe and effective manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and safe service to patients and clients.

Qualifications/requirements for this position:

• Nurse Practitioner with current license and in good standing
• Superior interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
• Phlebotomy skills
