801 Chophouse St. Louis is hiring for a Pastry position!
This is a part-time position working in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest of quality food. Experience is preferred but not required. Must be willing to learn new skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Pastry production
General knife handling
Pastry plating
Kitchen cleanliness/sanitation
Organization skills
Requirements/Experience Desired:
Basic knowledge of molecular gastronomy
Cake making & decorating
Petit fours/Mignardises
Gluten-free
Ice cream/sorbet
Bread making
1 year experience preferred, but not required
Ability to effectively communicate with BOH team in loud environment
Must be available any day of the week, including nights, weekends & some holidays
Must maintain regular, predictable and reliable attendance
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
Continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twisting
Physical ability to frequently lift 20-30 lbs, and occasionally up to 50lbs;
Physical ability to squat, kneel, and climb
