We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Pastry Chef to join our team full-time! In this role, you will focus on precision, consistency, and presentation, creating high-quality items that elevate the guest experience while supporting smooth operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
The ideal candidate has proven expertise in small desserts, pastries, and tea-style foods, along with the leadership and organizational skills to manage production, guide staff, and ensure every creation meets our standards of excellence.

Compensation: $55k - $65k annually depending on qualifications.
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday. Hours vary/flexible, either 2nd or 3rd shifts. Open availability preferred.
Pastry Chef Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee production, focusing on small desserts, pastries, and tea-style food items.
Enhance pastries with decorative icings and toppings.
Design and execute menus that balance creativity, flavor, and presentation.
Maintain precision and consistency in portion sizes and plating for high-volume service.
Hire, train, and supervise pastry staff to meet company standards.
Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control for pastry and baking operations.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain an organized and efficient pastry kitchen, including equipment and prep areas.
Collaborate with culinary leadership to coordinate menus and special event offerings.
Support with scheduling, labor management, and overall account operations.
Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.
Pastry Chef Skills and Qualifications:
Formal Pastry or Culinary Training. (Pastry degree or certification preferred)
Management experience – potential to oversee the entirety of the account.
5 years+ of professional pastry/baking experience, with a focus on small-format desserts.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, flavor pairing, and plating for tea-style service.
ServSafe certification, or willingness to obtain.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Skilled in use of pastry tools, ovens, mixers, and specialty equipment.
Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects; and stand for extended periods of time.
Creative problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
