Job Summary - Join our North Market Bakery Team in crafting our pastries. As part of Littleton’s Market, you’ll be helping supply our Upper Arlington and our downtown locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with preparing pastries from scratch, but we are willing to train the right candidate if they have the right experience.

Responsibilities: · Preparing and baking cakes, cookies, pastries, tarts, and breads based on established recipes · Creating, assembling, and decorating desserts, including icing, sugar work, and plating for service · Maintaining inventory of ingredients, restocking, and adhering to strict sanitation and health regulations · Ensuring all products meet quality and consistency standards, measuring ingredients carefully, often using weight for accuracy · Assisting pastry chefs and working with other kitchen staff to coordinate dessert service

Qualifications:

Positive attitude, strong work ethic

Team player, able to move quickly on your feet

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Baking experience required

Lamination and yeasted dough experience preferred
