Job Summary:
Three Oaks Hospitality is currently in search of skilled Pastry Cooks who possess the ability to prepare food with utmost precision according to the Pastry Chef's exact specifications. The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently set up stations for the pastry menu and assist the Pastry Chef with daily tasks. As a Pastry Cook, you will play an instrumental role in achieving our customer satisfaction goals and quality standards. Must have open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Pastry Chef and other members of culinary team to ensure a seamless integration of pastry offerings with the overall menu and dining experience.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
- Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Create fresh pastries/desserts on a daily basis.
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
- Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients.
- Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, and report issues to management.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area; set-up and break-down workstation; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift.
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.

- Must have the ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Must be in compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet operational needs.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
- Previous experience as a pastry cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Remain standing for extended periods of time.
- Bending, squatting, and lifting up to 25 lbs. for short distances.
- Ability to work with varying noise levels.
