About the Role:

Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Pastry Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts.
Oversee daily pastry production, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and standards.
Train and mentor junior pastry staff, fostering a collaborative kitchen atmosphere.
Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients to maintain optimal stock levels.
Develop and implement new dessert recipes to enhance the menu offerings.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pastry station in compliance with health regulations.
Monitor and maintain equipment used in pastry production to ensure functionality.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal specialties and themed desserts.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in a pastry or baking role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
Culinary degree or equivalent training in pastry arts is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for creating innovative desserts and a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
