    What You'll Do

    As a Patent Attorney, you will:

    Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications

    Develop patent portfolio strategies for innovative clients

    Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and validity analyses

    Counsel clients on intellectual property strategy

    Work directly with inventors, engineers, executives, and in-house counsel

    Collaborate with experienced attorneys across multiple technical disciplines

    Gain exposure to domestic and international intellectual property matters

    This position offers substantial responsibility, client interaction, and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships.

    Qualifications

    We are seeking candidates who possess:

    J.D. from an accredited law school

    Registration to practice before the USPTO

    Admission to the New Jersey Bar (or ability to obtain admission)

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline

    Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or comparable IP practice

    Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills

    Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client matters

    Preferred Qualifications

    Prior engineering or industry experience

    Patent litigation experience

    Experience managing client portfolios

    Portable business (welcome but not required)
