  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a Welder (also known as Fabricator, Welding Technician), you'll join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques. You'll interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process and inspect completed welds for structural soundness. You'll also prepare materials and set up for a welding device or robot, and comply with all safety requirements and protocols.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to operate forklift and cranes, and use a variety of hand tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints, and use measuring tools.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred), and must pass a MIG welder certification.
