As a Maintenance Mechanic (also known as Equipment Technician, Production Machine Operator), your primary responsibilities will include setting up production equipment, troubleshooting machinery issues, performing necessary repairs, and carrying out preventative maintenance. You will also be expected to work with minimal supervision and in a team setting, providing coverage for other shifts as needed.

**Qualifications**
* Minimum 4 years mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment (food industry is highly preferred).
* Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Good knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and ability to create preventive maintenance plans.
* Flexibility to work Shift Work (days, afternoons, nights).
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with lots of changes.
* Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures.
* Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management software’s an asset.
* Must pay attention to details with a customer service attitude.
* Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, Hydraulics Experience, and Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
