Role

As a Technical Trainer (also known as Technical Instructor, Technical Training Specialist), you will develop and deliver technical content and courseware for technicians and assemblers. Your role will involve managing the Technician Apprentice Program, facilitating training, assessing training needs, and supporting the production floor during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a technical trainer in an electronics manufacturing organization, aerospace and defense preferred.
• Degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in instructional design for technical subjects.
• Proficiency in IPC-A-610.
• Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to groups of employees.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Working knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Preferred: Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer), experience with course authoring tools, Technician experience, Lean 6sigma green belt and 6sigma training, experience as a technical trainer in an RF/Microwave organization.
