Role

As a Plastics Engineer (also known as Injection Molding Specialist, Process Technician), you'll solve complex injection molding problems using scientific molding principles. You'll collaborate with process technicians and mold makers to continually improve molding processes. You'll also participate in developing new part DFM's, track changeover time to improve efficiency, and utilize mold flow software to optimize the molding process.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding and related equipment and procedures.
• Proficiency in using 3D CAD software and mold flow simulation software such as Solidworks, Inventor, Moldex.
• Understanding of formal scientific molding process training (RJG, Bozelli, Paulson, or similar).
