Role

As a Distribution Center Picker/Packer (also known as Warehouse Associate, Order Picker), your primary role will be to manage inventory distribution. You will read incoming orders, select items from warehouse shelves efficiently, and package products for shipment. You will also perform quality assurance by inspecting goods and their containers for possible damage before packing them. Additionally, you will maintain clean and orderly work areas and ensure accurate stock inventory throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanner preferred.
• 6 months of experience in a performance-measured picking/packing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate all applicable equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to use or be trained to use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and tablets.
• Knowledge and ability to use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) systems. Experience with Epicor is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience working with other departments.
• Ability to meet established picking/packing productivity goals.
