Role

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Machinery Repair Technician), you'll be responsible for observing and troubleshooting mechanical devices, fabricating, disassembling, and assembling production equipment, adjusting functional parts of devices, and performing preventative maintenance. You'll also handle tasks such as welding, sheet metal work, and basic shop floor skills, and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years’ experience in an industrial maintenance role.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting bearings, belts, sheaves, sprockets, chains, and gear reducers.
• Experience in inspection and making recommendations on the proper level of replacement and inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Previous experience in the food industry and knowledge of GMP’s and SQF audits would be valuable.
