  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a Diesel Mechanic (also known as Heavy Duty Diesel Technician, Diesel Engine Specialist), you will be responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. You will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure safe operation. This role also involves administrative tasks such as completing reports, ordering parts, and planning and scheduling repairs. You will have the opportunity to assist in training new employees and keep up with the latest technology through technical training seminars.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); technical diploma desired.
    • At least 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic.
    • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical troubleshooting, HVAC, basic computer skills, customer service, understanding electrical schematics, mechanical assembly skills, and meeting physical requirements.
