Role

As a Mechanical Specialist (also known as Industrial Maintenance Technician, Equipment Repair Specialist), you'll interact with various stakeholders, perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, and contribute to troubleshooting efforts. You'll also be involved in preventative and predictive maintenance, and the diagnosis, repair, and adjustment of equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance experience or heavy equipment repair.
• Ability to pass the Ramsey Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Proficiency in computer skills or the ability to be trained on a work order system.
• Experience in welding and machining skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective troubleshooting.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, gear boxes, bearings, belts, chains, rollers, pumps.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, prints, and work orders.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to drive material handling equipment or be trained to do so.
