Role

As a CAD Designer (also known as Solidworks Designer, 3D Sheet Metal Modeler), you'll develop solid model drawings from customer specifications, sketches, and engineering notes. You'll ensure these designs meet customer, company, and industry standards. Your role will involve using Solidworks CAD (sheetmetal functions) to prepare engineering drawings and work closely with other Designers, Engineers, and Production Personnel to ensure a coordinated design. You'll also be responsible for making necessary changes, additions, and revisions to designs as directed.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or 2+ years of 3-D Sheet Metal Modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Solidworks; 3-D Sheet Metal Modeling, CAD/CAM Software, and CAD Software.
• Experience in a manufacturing or quality position in a sheet metal environment and with an ERP system (preferably JobBOSS).
