Role

As a Manufacturing Safety Coordinator (also known as Safety Officer, Safety Specialist), you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment in our manufacturing facility. Your duties will include identifying and reporting potential safety hazards, enforcing safety policies and procedures, providing safety training, and participating in incident investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience in welding, paint, fabrication environments is a plus.
• Experience with Safe Start or Move Smart programs is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
