Path Engineering LLC (a staffing agency with years of experience helping companies with high-volume hiring needs) is posting this job on behalf of Gestamp North America.

Responsibilities:

• Fill cap magazines throughout all production welders in the facility.
• Pre-fill offline magazines to make exchanges quick pit-stops.
• Manually change caps in non-automated stations.
• Maintain cap changing equipment.
• Replaces tip dresser cutter blades when needed.
• Works in cells during production break and lunch periods.
• Work with crib attendant to get required number of weld caps needed to maintain systems.
• Return all spend copper caps to the crib for salvage.
• Identifies opportunities to improve workflow and achieve 85% Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Trained in Lock-out.
• Closely works with area Maintenance Technicians.
• Capable of working with basic hand tools.
• Works closely with production team to ensure that all weld cap related downtime is eliminated.
• Training will be provided.

Salary info:

$20 - $28 / hr
