  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and continuous improvement of all machinery and systems, including site auxiliary equipment, in a safe and efficient manner. You'll also support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, complete assigned work orders, assist with equipment change overs, and participate in cross-functional Continuous Improvement projects.

    As a Licensed Electrician (also known as Master Electrician), you'll support daily production activities by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electrical, packaging, and bakery equipment. You'll also install and repair electrical systems, perform routine work assignments, prepare work orders, and provide technical support and guidance to the continuous improvement team.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED preferred. Associates degree and/or Technical School certification or training in basic mechanics or electricity is a plus.
    • 3 years’ experience maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment in an automated plant.
    • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes.
    • Experience with power tools and other equipment used in construction.
    • Physical strength and stamina to work 12-hour shifts, lift 50+ pounds, stand, climb, and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive motions, and work in an environment with varying temperatures and humidity.
