Role

As a Purchasing Agent (also known as Procurement Specialist, Supply Chain Analyst), you'll manage all aspects of purchasing to support organizational operations efficiently and cost-effectively. This includes generating purchase orders for raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies, planning and scheduling deliveries, and negotiating pricing with suppliers. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of new purchasing strategies for ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience purchasing in a sub-contract, manufacturing, or project environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing and vendor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
