Role

As an Injection Molding Setup Technician (also known as Injection Molding Operator, Molding Machine Technician), you'll ensure the smooth operation of injection mold machines according to the production schedule. Your duties will include machine troubleshooting, making necessary adjustments, completing timely repairs, and working closely with the engineering team on complex issues. You'll also be responsible for following safety protocols, documenting repairs, and checking the quality of produced parts using various measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience running injection mold machines and related equipment.
• Technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong logical hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, mechanical troubleshooting skills, and blueprint reading.
• Experience with plastic extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) and good written and verbal communication skills.
