Role

As a Forge Manufacturing Engineer (also known as Process Development Engineer, Manufacturing Process Engineer), you will lead and support the forging process development for medical device products. You will manage technical aspects of new programs and products for a successful launch, ensuring safety, profit/margin, scrap, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. You will design forge processes, calculate die cavity volumes, work with design teams on the development of dies/tools, and provide support during the development and production of all forge products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Forge Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience directly supporting forging process development and operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong knowledge and understanding of GD&T principles, and advanced knowledge and strong experience with near-net shaped forging processes.
