Role
As a Heavy Equipment Technician (also known as Construction Equipment Mechanic, Heavy Machinery Repair Technician), your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned construction equipment. This includes troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring general machine upkeep. You'll also use diagnostic tools, gauges, and instruments to detect faults in all machine systems, occasionally operate machines for repair assessment, and disassemble and assemble machine components as per manufacturer's specifications.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, read, talk, write, and hear. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Long periods of standing, periodic exposure to seasonal heat and cold, working with oils and greases, noise, shift work as needed - 1st and 2nd, working outside, stooping, bending, squatting, or working in a prone position.
