Role

As a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Mill Operator, CNC Lathe Operator), you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC Mill and Lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You'll perform machine setups for production runs, read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, and use GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances. You'll also program machines using G-Code and M-Code, monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) and CNC Lathe (5+ axis) machines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to program machines using G-Code and M-Code.
• Experience with machine setups for production runs.
• Familiarity with machine brands such as Dmg Mori Seiki, Hurco, and Mazak.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to work on the second shift.
