    Role

    As a 5-Axis Laser Programmer (also known as Laser Machine Programmer, Laser Cutting Technician), you'll be responsible for creating accurate programs for stamped sheet metal production parts processing through 5-axis laser machines. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and operations to ensure customer specifications are met. Your role will involve managing programming and priorities, setting up laser fixtures, rectifying production issues, and continuously improving efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of 5-axis programming experience.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks, Autocad).
    • Understanding of RML/G-Code for editing and identifying.
    • Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, etc).
    • Strong decision-making, prioritization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
