Role

As a Surface Grinder (also known as Precision Grinder, Grinding Machine Operator), your main responsibilities will include planning and preparing work, reading blueprints and job orders, operating various grinding machines, and verifying the dimensions of ground work pieces. You will also have the potential to operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment. This role is crucial in manufacturing components for progressive stamping dies and spare components for a variety of industries.

Qualifications

• Four plus years of precision grinding experience or Journeyworker papers.
• Experience with centerless, cylindrical, jig, surface, or contour grinding.
• High school diploma or GED minimum required.
