Role

As a Machine Operator (also known as Equipment Technician, Production Operator), you'll set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. You'll use computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. You'll control and adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a variety of processing equipment including, but not limited to, saw, shear, press brake, roller, plasma, laser, etc.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and use measuring tools such as: tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer.
