  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Mechanic, Equipment Technician), you'll perform major electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs. You'll interpret schematics/blueprints, troubleshoot drive-related issues, determine root causes of failures, and communicate consistently with internal customers. You'll also work with service representatives on equipment and controls repair and installation, construct sketches of mechanical or construction alterations/installations, and prepare bills of material on jobs requiring major material use.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree or higher in Electronic Technology preferred, or must show enrollment into coursework for associate's degree within 12 months of employment.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, CNC machines and controls.
    • Experience with blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting skills, electrical schematics, electrical troubleshooting skills, mechanical troubleshooting skills, hydraulics experience, PLC wiring experience, troubleshooting CNC machines, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
