Role

As a Welder (also known as TIG Welder, Stick Welder), you'll perform a variety of technical and specialty welding operations using manual, automatic, and robotic equipment. You'll ensure welding quality meets or exceeds commercial nuclear requirements and maintain accurate documentation. You'll also perform tasks such as basic layouts, job setup and alignment, equipment and component movement, and minor maintenance on welding equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of on-the-job experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SMAW (stick) welding and pipe welding with manual GTAW (TIG) welding processes. Additional experience with dissimilar metal welding, x-ray and/or ultrasonic tested quality welds, welding in tight spaces and complicated positions, knowledge of heat treat practices, and familiarity with NDE methods is a plus.
