Role

As a Seamer Operator (also known as Capping Machine Operator, Seaming Technician), you'll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all seamers and capping machines. You'll adjust and set machines for proper closures, test seams, order and install parts, and supervise changes of dies in printing stamps. During off-season, you'll dismantle and overhaul seamers and cappers, supervise changes of type in dies for stamping code on lids, and instruct other operators on correct stamps to use.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18-years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance and operation of related equipment on Seamers.
• Proficiency in quality inspection, mechanical troubleshooting skills, troubleshooting industrial automation equipment, and machine safety inspections.
