Role

As a 2nd Shift Team Lead in Manufacturing (also known as Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Leader), you will be responsible for leading a team in a test and assembly manufacturing environment. Your duties will include staffing management, employee development, performance management, problem resolution, conducting performance evaluations, overseeing continuous improvement initiatives, and being the first line of response for equipment failure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with a 2-year associate degree in a technical field like Electronic Engineering Technology, Microelectronics or Mechatronics preferred. Military Technical Training may also be considered.
• 2+ years of experience operating a Scanning Electron MicroProduct, troubleshooting and electronic equipment repair OR a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs and use Multimeters, OscilloProducts, Soldering Irons, etc.
• Knowledge of Scanning Electron MicroProducts, data acquisition, taking SEM images and measurements, Electronics Manufacturing, Equipment Repair, High Voltage, and Ultra High Vacuum.
• Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs a plus (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds.
