  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a CNC Machine Operator (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Technician), your key duties will include checking and setting up machines, running parts, maintaining quality control, and ensuring cleanliness of your work area. You may operate up to 6 machines, inspecting products to tolerances as precise as 1000th of an inch.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with 2 years of machining experience or education equivalent in related field.
    • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machining work centers, making tool changes, and making in-process offset changes.
    • Strong understanding of technical drawings, standard work documentation, and GD&T. Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma OSP is a plus.
    • Ability to use metrology equipment effectively, read and speak English, and possess basic math and PC skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with minimum supervision and collaborate effectively with a team.
    • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
    • Trade school certification in related field and any related professional education or training are preferred.
