Role

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you will perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of problems, dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, and repairing/replacing defective parts. You may also be required to operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks. Additionally, you will drive and participate in continuous improvement activities and update maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Ability to use basic and specialized hand tools.
• May be required to travel.
