  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As an Assembly Technician (also known as Mechanical Assembler, Assembly Operator), you'll be responsible for the complete assembly, installation, and testing of hoists, parts, and their subassemblies. You'll follow blueprints and other written and verbal specifications, align components, install moving parts, and test the operation of the completed product. You'll also work with transmissions, brakes, panel plates, and final assemblies.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical assembly skills.
    • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving up to 40 pounds, and standing for extended periods.
