  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As an Instrument/Electrical Technician (also known as Electrical Maintenance Technician, Instrumentation Technician), you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of all plant equipment in a chemical manufacturing plant. You'll also promote safety, environmental stewardship, and housekeeping throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include routine inspection, maintenance, replacement, repair, and calibration of all types of electrical, instrumentation, and controls. You'll also work on 3 phase systems up to 15kV, use test instruments, interpret electrical schematics, and adhere to safe work standards.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
    • 2+ years' experience in Industrial Electrical maintenance or AAS in Instrument Electrical.
    • Experience with PLC'S (Allen Bradley preferred), Variable Frequency Drives, and/or DCS systems (Emerson Delta V preferred).
    • Self-motivated, hardworking, adaptable, and a team player with the ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
    • Commitment to working safely.
