  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a Field Service Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, CNC Machine Technician), you'll be responsible for the installation and commissioning of new CNC machining centers, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, providing technical support to clients, and analyzing complex mechanical and electrical components for failure modes. This role involves 100% domestic travel, with work from home flexibility when not on client sites.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2-year degree, preferably a combination of business and technical.
    • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with heavy metal removal product lines and processes.
    • Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used on 3 and 5 axis milling machining centers with Fanuc 31i or Siemens 840D PL & SL controls.
    • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, industrial automation equipment, and CNC machines.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
