Role

As a Molding Process Technician (also known as Injection Molding Operator, Plastic Molding Specialist), you will operate injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications. You will be responsible for machine setup, quality control, and basic maintenance. You will also play a key role in training new technicians and ensuring a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training certificate or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience with molding machines, including setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Proficiency in basic math and reasoning skills.
• Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 58 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Comfortable working in an environment with moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock, vibration, and fumes or airborne particles.
