Role

As a Machinist III / Lathe Setup Operator (also known as CNC Machine Operator, Lathe Operator), you'll interpret client specifications, set up and monitor CNC machines, and ensure product quality. Your role will be critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence by adhering to inspection protocols and detecting errors before products are released.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of machining experience, preferably with metals.
• Experience running, troubleshooting, and programming CNC machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
• Advanced math skills and understanding of machine code (G-code) CAD.
• Forklift certification and ability to follow hoist safety protocols.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and stand for up to 10 hours.
• Proficiency in G-Code and machine setups for production runs.
• Experience with CNC Lathe (2-4 axis and 5+ axis), CAD Software (AutoCAD, Solidworks), and ERP Software.
