Role

As a Quality Assurance Support Specialist (also known as Quality Assurance Technician, Quality Control Specialist), you'll be responsible for ensuring new products and their development processes meet the highest quality standards. You'll provide input on quality aspects, participate in stage-gate processes, initiate changes for continuous improvement, and maintain records of quality assurance tasks. You'll also mentor, train, and supervise other members of the Quality Assurance Department.

Qualifications

• Vocational Training and 8+ years of experience or GED with 10+ years of related field experience.
• Experience in APQP - PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows, 8D Corrective Actions.
• Proficient in MS Office and Windows operating system; Minitab highly desirable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
