Role
As an Equipment Technician (also known as Machinery Technician, Equipment Specialist), you'll be responsible for installing, dismantling, and maintaining machinery and equipment according to company plans and blueprints. This role involves troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems and repairing malfunctioning equipment. You'll also perform general building maintenance responsibilities to ensure profitable business operations.

Qualifications
- Four-year apprenticeship program certified by Department of Labour, or 5 years direct experience as an Equipment Tech.
- Licensed journeyman, or class “A” certification.
- Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment.
- Able to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of load bearing capabilities of the equipment to be installed, assembled, or dismembered.
- Aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
