Role

As a Manual Machinist (also known as a Machining Technician, Lathe Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating large manual vertical and horizontal lathes, interpreting blueprints, maintaining low tolerances, selecting appropriate cutting tools, and assisting in the repair and rebuilding of large liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors.

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational degree in Machining highly desired.
• Previous experience setting up and operating large Manual Vertical & Horizontal Lathe.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret standard and metric dimensions from blueprints.
