Responsibilities:

• Support safety and quality programs
• Set-up and operate CNC Lasers.
• Review work orders and specifications
• Follow set up procedures, quality checks, and dimensions of finished workpiece.
• Remove burrs and stage parts for next process.
• Read and interpret provided prints and specifications.
• Download program file to machine controller.
• Perform 1st piece inspection.
• Observe/listen to machine to detect malfunctions.
• Operate fork trucks to move product
• Gather, count, deburr, stack product as required.
• Cleans and organizes work area.

Qualifications:

• Basic Math background and comfort level.
• Speak, write and comprehend conversational English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Fork Truck: Requires a valid drivers license

You should be proficient in:

• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Blueprint Reading
• Quality Inspection Experience
• Programming Machine Vision Systems
• Deburring Experience

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Calipers and Micrometers
• CNC Laser Cutter (Trumpf)
• Vertical Lathe
• Forklifts

Salary info:

$17 - $21 / hr
