Role

As a Facility Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Engineer, Facility Maintenance Specialist), you'll be responsible for performing periodic maintenance, corrective repair, replacement, and limited troubleshooting on various facility-related equipment and systems. This includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems. You'll also conduct preventive maintenance within manufacturer’s guidelines/specifications and established timelines, ensuring safe operation and compliance with lock out / tag out (LOTO) and Arc Flash guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. Technical/Trade School certificate in facility maintenance or related areas preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of distribution or manufacturing maintenance experience, with mechanical and industrial skills experience in HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and plumbing preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50+ pounds.
