  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Programmer), you'll assist with the setup, programming, operation, and adjustment of CNC machines. You'll work from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts, make repairs to metal parts, and contribute to the development of experimental apparatus or prototype equipment. Additionally, you'll be responsible for writing/editing/modifying programs for CNC machines, operating machines according to precise engineering tolerances, and performing routine inspections and minor maintenance.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 1-2 years of experience as a fully qualified machinist.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints, work with AutoCAD, hand tools, and measuring devices.
    • Experience with CNC programming, setting up and operating manual lathes and other machines according to precise tolerances.
    • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
