  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. This includes troubleshooting programmable controllers, repairing A/C and D/C drives, planning and scheduling maintenance work, and teaching other maintenance staff. You'll also be expected to follow safety protocols, maintain good housekeeping in work areas, and work all necessary hours and shifts.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
    • Ability to read and follow instructions, use maintenance software, and apply high school math concepts.
    • Working knowledge of equipment design, product layouts, and quality standards.
    • May require a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification.
    • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, shop math skills, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 100 pounds, and have specific vision abilities.
