  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As an Injection Tool Maker (also known as Tool Builder, Tool Maintenance Specialist), you'll be responsible for tool building, maintenance, and repair in thermoforming and/or injection molding. You'll have a full understanding of all aspects of injection molding tooling, including hot runner systems, cooling systems, ejection, etc. You'll also be experienced in troubleshooting thermoforming and injection molding tooling, and in using traditional metal fabrication equipment and CNC equipment for component fabrication.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED is required, with a technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
    • 5-7 years of demonstrated tool building, maintenance, and repair experience.
    • Proficiency in GD&T, Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills, Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience, Blueprint Reading, and experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
